Z-WAVE GARAGE FOR LESS

Make your garage smart with minimal effort and cash. Just attach the tilt sensor to your garage door and connect the ZEN16 to your existing door switch on the wall. You can control up to 3 doors with a single ZEN16 independently (but you'll need to get additional sensors to monitor them). Scroll down to the "Works with" section for dedicated hub instructions.

IN THIS PACKAGE:

ZOOZ S2 MULTIRELAY ZEN16 VER. 2.0

You don't need to touch any wiring at the garage opener. Just take the 2 wires from the door switch and attach them to the R1 terminals on the ZEN16. Connect the switch to the Sw1 terminals with another 2 wires, power the ZEN16 up and you're all set.  Please make sure your existing opener doesn't have any smart or electronic features and is controlled by a simple momentary wall switch before buying.

ZOOZ 700 SERIES Z-WAVE PLUS TILT | SHOCK SENSOR
The sensor mounts directly on your garage door to notify you if the gate is open or closed based on its position. It comes with adhesive tape and can be mounted outdoors with a dedicated weatherproof case (sold separately) for flexible installation. Its 700 series Z-Wave chip offers longer range and battery life. Covered under a 5-year warranty.

Simple to set up and worked as promised

This was my first time setting up a multi-relay switch with Home Assistant. Setup was fairly easy. For my garage door opener, I had to set up an automation to close the switch after the switch triggered an open, otherwise I would no longer be able to use the garage door's opener. Once I figure that out, it was smooth sailing.

Nice package works well.

I have a Liftmaster garage door opener that has MyQ and it has been noting but a pain. I found a community entry on Hubitat that talked about a button that would replace the button I had for around $25, and they soldered 2 leads to it that were attached to the button so it simulates a button press. The relay & sensor were easy to install in my garage and it took about a half hour to install the hardware an get Hubitat set up. It's working great. Oh, the power supply some have had? I have a surge suppressor in the garage that powers an Ethernet switch, and a Wi-Fi access point. The surge suppressor has USB connectors on it so I just used the cable included and plugged it in there.
