We accept refunds and exchanges.

Our return policy is 30 days for all new items except Garage Sale Deals which are all marked as final sale and are NOT eligible for returns, exchanges, or warranty service.
Once 30 days from the date of delivery pass, you are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also has to arrive in its original packaging back to us.
We require a receipt or proof of purchase to finalize any return.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted and are subject to a restocking fee up to 30%:
Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or with parts missing for reasons not related to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an e-mail to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Once approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within several business days.
Delayed or missing refunds
If you have not received a refund within several days from the date of approval, please check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. That might be due to extended processing time on their side.

We will always try to accommodate any return request so you are not stuck with a defective or unwanted product. Some sale / clearance products may not be available for refund so please check with us first.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a defective product for the same item, please send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can initiate a replacement for you.

You are responsible for shipping costs associated with the return. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on your location, the time of arrival for a replacement product may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider purchasing shipping insurance. The Smartest House is not responsible for missing or stolen items while in transit with any shipping or forwarding agency.
