This product is available in different Z-Wave frequencies so please make sure you choose the correct region before checking out. You need to select the same frequency / region as your hub when buying Z-Wave devices for them to include to your system. If you're not sure which frequency your hub operates on, please contact your solution provider first. Here is what each option stands for:
Before installing, make sure the load does not exceed 960W for incandescent lights, 150W for LED's, 3A for fans and motors, or 10A for resistive load. Check your wiring first to confirm that you have all the following wires present in your gang box: load (most often black), line (most often black), neutral (most often white), and ground (most often green).
If you are not comfortable identifying the wiring and following the instructions, please hire a licensed electrician.
Here are some helpful wiring tips:
How to include the Dry Contact Relay to your smart home network?
1. Bring your Z-Wave gateway hub or controller as close to the switch as possible
2. Put your Z-Wave controller in inclusion/pairing mode
3. Click the Z-Wave button on the relay 3 times quickly to finalize the inclusion process
4. A new on/off switch should appear on your controller's device list
NOTE: If you don't see your Z-Wave controller on the list above, please contact us before you purchase this product.

Everything works as expected
Love the Zooz products. Most of my smart house is Zooz ( over 70 devices). But for smartest house… had an address that got black listed (I never received an order and asked for a refund) and cannot order to that address. They won’t even return a call or email. Summary products great. Quick delivery.
easy to setup and configure, with multiple features
Had wiring issue that support addressed immediately and accurately. In fact, they did much more than I expected. They went so far as to annotate the necessary configurations on the diagram that I provided them. The product itself is very good. Having such good tech resources makes all the difference.
I've had these for about 8 months, and frankly, they suck. I bought them to go behind regular switches because (dumb) reasons.
- They are smaller than a full-sized smart switch, but not really smaller than a normal switch plus the relay. Meaning, it is no easier to install than a regular smart switch.
- There is no physical access to them once installed. To do any sort of reset, you need to remove everything because the relay ends up in the back of the box.
- So far, I've had to replace one that completely stopped responding (in 6 months)
- Since there is no physical way to power cycle the device, I've had to power cycle the entire circuit the device is on to fix issues where it just stops responding.
- It stops responding to both flipping the switch and doing anything remotely using the Hubitat.
- I've had to do this at least 6 times. Do you know how annoying it is to have to go to the circuit breaker and flip 10 lights off and on to fix one stupid switch? I do!
During this time the physical Zoos switches I have on the same circuit and with the same setup (some 3-way, some normal) have had no issues, so its likely not my house's electrical system failing. However, even if it is, I don't care, because I didn't install these so they could fail in 6 months for ANY reason.
Buy a normal switch. Zoos makes some decent ones. Inovelli makes some decent ones too. Just don't by the relays unless you are ready for issues, or have no other choice.
Thank you for your feedback, Michael! As noted in the documentation for the device, exclusion and inclusion can be easily done via the connected switches. We would be happy to troubleshoot your installation if you would like to reach out to us with the specific details of your installation!
