Before installing, make sure the load does not exceed 960W for incandescent lights, 150W for LED's, 3A for fans and motors, or 15 A for resistive load.
How to include the Smart Plug to your smart home network?
1. Insert the Smart Plug into a standard 120 V receptacle
2. Put your Z-Wave controller in inclusion/pairing mode
3. Click the Z-Wave button on the plug 3 times quickly to finalize the inclusion process
4. A new on/off device will appear on your hub's device list

I purchased three of the Zen04 smart plugs. Two replaced wifi plugs that just wouldn’t stay connected and the third for a new application. I have a Hubitat C-8. I did a manual z-wave add device, and then I added the plugs to the Amazon Echo Skill on my C-8 so I would have voice control. I did have one problem which turned out to be Hubitat related. The support from The Smartest House folks was superb. Highly recommend.
Got this to use on a water heater recirculating pump and is working out well to program the pump for certain times of the day. Also adds to my Z-wave infrastructure which keeps expanding.
