I used this to automate my whole home humidifier and so far it works great! My furnace had a 24V transformer powering the humidifier, so I just modified the existing wiring, removing the analog control and boom! Love that it is powered by 24VDC and controls the 24VDC solenoid on my humidifier. Now I don't need to change the control manually in these crazy Midwest winters.
I love how small this device is. The size makes it easy to hide.
I used this relay to control a 12v valve and it worked great. I added a switch using the existing connectors and it works great. The switch is smart enough to know that when the switch state doesn’t match the relay state to avoid taking action when flipped to match.
So if the relay is off but the switch is on, switching the switch to the off position won’t turn the relay on.
This compact device works wonderfully to automate my old garage door opener.
Needed a relay to automate my dumb humidifier. This works exaclty as expected. I pull data from my humidity sensors in the house and feed them back to this relay at the AHU to open and close the valve at the humidifier.
