Spend on prevention, save when disaster strikes. The Zooz Water Leak Sensor reliably detects water presence so that you can respond better and faster to leaky pipes and a boiler room immersed in water.
When paired with your Z-Wave hub, it will send instant notifications and alerts to your smart phone or computer, whether it’s a flood emergency or a low-battery alert. Connect the Water Leak Sensor to other Z-Wave devices for advanced automation scenarios: trigger your smart water valve actuator to immediately shut off flow. Pair it with an alarm siren located on the main floor to ensure a fast response.
Just place it on any flat surface you'd like to monitor for the most hassle-free installation possible.

I have been using zoos products for 7 years and I am amazed at the quality
I use the Smartthings hub and the Zooz water sensor immediately connected, but the routine I set up to notify me by text would not work. I contacted Zooz support and they quickly pointed me to an old Smartthings support post which showed how to enable text.
How often does a company research another company's tech support site to provide an answer? In my experience, this is the first time. Usually it's just finger pointing.
I have ordered several more water detectors and I'm a Zooz customer for anything they sell from now on.
I've got 13 of these sensors at every possible leak point in my house, 7 months later and batter is still showing 100%
the best part is the integration with SmartThings allows me to have leak alerts pop up on my phone, delivered by text message, and voice announcement over my Sonos speakers.
Bought a few of these to replace and augment my existing sensors. Paired fairly easily and report directly to Home Assistant. Would recommend to anyone with a z-wave system or who just want bulletproof devices.
