    Good - but

    Tried pairing at the install location, would not. Had to move to within 30’ of the hub to pair, then schlepp out to its location to install. No issue sleuth connect at its install location. Then, I had to find the custom driver code for it to give me all the advance options for my HE hub. Why can’t the web address just be put into the instructions on where to get firmware and driver code? Anyway, works good now…

    Almost perfect

    I have a couple of the previous generation of these sensors (z29). The battery life on those were incredible, I think I changed the batteries once or twice in like 5 years. I bet these will be even better with the lithium battery. My only gripe with this version is that the tolerance on the battery compartment is so tight that it makes it insanely difficult to screw into the housing. I was afraid to use a wrench because I thought I’d scratch or warp the housing. I suppose that may contribute to its water resistance, but I think you could accomplish the same standard with looser tolerances and a rubber o-ring. Otherwise, motion detection and other functions are great.
