Before installing, make sure the load does not exceed 960W for incandescent lights, 150W for CFL's and LED's, or 1800W (15A) for resistive load. Check your wiring first to confirm that you have all the following wires present in your gang box: load (most often black), line (most often black), neutral (most often white), and ground (most often green).
If you are not comfortable identifying the wiring and following the instructions, please hire a licensed electrician.

Here are some helpful wiring tips:
How to include the Scene Controller switch to your smart home network?
1. Bring your Z-Wave gateway hub or controller as close to the switch as possible
2. Put your Z-Wave controller in inclusion/pairing mode
3. Tap the upper paddle of the switch 3 times quickly to finalize the inclusion process
4. A new on/off switch should appear on your controller's device list
NOTE: Use a dedicated diagram from the manual to wire the switch in a 3-way setting with a regular electrical switch if you are looking to control one light with 2 or 3 switches.
worked out of the box; setting scenes was a breeze. Would def recommend.
I love Zooz products and am currently up to 57 Z-Wave devices being controlled by Home Assistant. I recently purchased this device during a Black Friday sale. Initially, I wasn't sure where to install it, as I wanted to use the indicator lights to notify me when doors were unlocked or garage doors were left open.
I decided on the living room, the most common room in my house. I previously had a standard light switch that had to be left in the 'on' position to allow my Philips Hue bulb to be controlled by Home Assistant automations. Unfortunately, visitors would mistake it for a light switch and always toggle it off, cutting power to the bulb.
As always, the directions made the installation extremely simple. I reconfigured the main switch to always be powered (in the 'on' state) and reassigned it as a scene controller to operate the Hue bulb. I then created automations for four of the indicator lights to display the status of my front door, back door, and two garage doors:
Button 1: Displays blue if the back door is unlocked.
Button 2: Displays white if the front door is unlocked.
Button 3: Displays red if garage 1 is left open.
Button 4: Displays yellow if garage 2 is left open.
When everything is locked and closed, all buttons show green. I have assigned different scenes to the other four buttons to control various lights in the living room.
The one thing that took me a while to figure out (Didn't read the Directions) was button 5 is considered the big button. 1 - 4 are the smaller buttons.
The programmable LED functionality is great.
I have been looking for a while for a scene controller that controls one circuit and offers attractive scene control. Love this product and have come to appreciate the quality and reliability of Zooz in an ecosystem littered with sub-par products that fail.
I have two of the 700 series Zen32. They're highly versatile and let me control a lot of automations in my home and are highly reliable devices; I've had no issues!
