      Great Range, Versatile Device

I'm using this device in a room full of other Z-Wave devices, so the mesh should support a great range; regardless, the range is great. Also, when the edge driver is loaded, the device is quite versatile with 4 buttons, each having the ability to sense multiple presses and a continuous press.

      ZEN37 Z-Wave Long Range Wall Remote 800LR

I like most of the features of this Zooz 800 Series Remote (ZEN37). Being battery powered and magnetically held on the wall to look like a Decora switch gives it both good looks and the flexibility to be carried to your seat to utilize some of the 30, yes 30, “buttons” (or scene controls) it provides.
The rechargeable battery (USB-C) holds up well, still 96% after two weeks.
The only negative is the somewhat noisy operation of the buttons. I probably won’t use it in my bedroom. (I have a quiet ZEN34 there.)

      Great little remote

The ZEN37 is very easy to setup and use. I was able to get it up and running within within minutes of opening the package.

Best Z-Wave Remote on the Market

There are (5) reasons I consider the ZEN37 the best remote you can buy right now.
      1. At first I thought this was a clone of the Minoston MR40Z but after looking at the specs the Zooz has more scenes and more associations.
      2. It has a strong magnet that allows you to attach the remote to metal surfaces. I currently have mine attached to the fridge and use it to trigger timers and so on.
      3. It has a USB C port to quickly recharge the internal battery. The internal battery is an off the shelf CR2032 rechargeable battery so its easy to replace.
      4. I tested the Long Range capabilities and was able to easily get the advertised 1300 ft range. Even in mesh mode its gets better range than my older remotes thanks to the 800 series chip.
      5. I really like the association capabilities. I can press and hold button 1 to dim my light up and press and hold button 2 to dim the light down. Setting up the association is a lot easier than setting up an automation.
