1. Make sure the device is within range of your Z-Wave network
2. Put your Z-Wave hub in inclusion/pairing mode
3. Tap the top button of the Remote Switch 6 times quickly to finalize the inclusion process (or scan the QR code / enter the 4-digit DSK number printed on the back of the remote if using the new SmartStart method)
4. A new remote control / button controller device will appear on your hub's device list
I've deployed the simpler version, the ZEN34, in almost every room of my house, but decided to give the ZEN37 a try. I really appreciate that it's rechargeable, and the top buttons have a nice, satisfying click to them, though the smaller, bottom buttons are a little spongey. I think it gives a much more modern feel than the ZEN34 as well, though not every room would have a use for the extra buttons. I paired my first one with an Ikea Tradfri bulb that's dimmable and has adjustable color temperatures, and it works great for that. The large buttons to the usual on/off and dim, but I set the bottom buttons up to be pre-programmed "scenes" (dim+warm for night, bright+cool for day), and it works great for that. For the pretty small price difference, I think it'll be tempting to go with the ZEN37 for any future remote switches.
You have four switches to program for lots of options. Interfaced with my Hubitat just great. No issues and easy to program.
These new scene remotes have been amazing. Battery life with a few clicks a day has been at least 6 months, probably closer to a year. Buttons are satisfying to click and it's nice that I can pull it off its magnet mount.
Works great
Very easy to connect and works as expected. Occasionally there is a delay but I attribute that to my mesh setup
