Connect the micro USB end of the adapter to the micro USB port on the Z-Box and the USB A end to the USB port on the power supply that came with your Z-Box hub, replacing the existing USB power cable. NOTE: Ethernet cable is NOT included, sold separately.
The product was shipped and we received it on time. However, I had some difficulty connecting it, I reached out to support and we finally made it work. I am still trying to get the hub connected to the iPhone app and even with customer email support I’m still unable to connect the ap.
Seems to make unit a bit more responsive vs WIFI.
As I prepare to build my next house, I've begun putting together the smart devices I will need. Zooz is my go to brand and this adapter is making it possible for me to feel secure about changing from Hubitat to Z-Box. I prefer a wired connection for backbone items and this adapter gives me that option. Fast and easy install.
