      INSTALLATION

      Before installing, make sure the load does not exceed 960W for incandescent lights, 150W for LED's, 3A for fans and motors, or 15 A for resistive load COMBINED between the 2 outlets.

        How to include the Outdoor Double Plug to your smart home network?
        1. Insert the plug into a standard 120 V receptacle
        2. Put your Z-Wave controller in inclusion/pairing mode
        3. Click the Z-Wave button on the plug 3 times quickly to finalize the inclusion process
        4. A new on/off device will appear on your hub's device list

        Works well!

        Paired perfectly with SmartThings. Then followed the instructions and installed the custom driver which was very easy and gave the full range of controls and settings. Displays much better with the custom driver as well. Overall working great! I did have to buy the Zooz Z-Wave range extender because this is outside and my v2 hub could not reliably control it, now with the extender its working perfectly.

        Another good product

        This is a great outdoor z-wave plug. You can control both outlets independently. I'm currently using it to control Christmas lights. The only thing I wish it had is energy monitoring so I could use it in tandem with a battery tender for my motorcycle.

        Every time I've ever had an issue with Zooz products (always my fault) their support has be excellent. Some of the best support I've ever had and its the reason I continue to buy Zooz products. Please never move your support team to "AI" in the name of cost savings. It will kill what makes your brand stand out above the rest.

        Perfect for Controlling my Water Heater Pump

        I just purchased two more ZEN14's for use in my outdoor holiday decor, but I've been using my first ZEN14 for a couple years now. It's controlling the recirculation pump on my water heater. I have it turn on for 12 minutes per hour during most waking hours. That keeps hot water moving through my pipes so we never have to wait long for the water to get hot. I also have a voice control through Alexa that turns it on for 12 minutes on demand...perfect for showers. Excellent product and very versatile!

        I have a few of these now. They work great with Home Assistant in turning on / off Holiday lights.
