$34.95– Sold Out
NOTE: Z-Wave gateway controller required - sold separately. You need a security enabled controller to take full advantage of the product (including an S2 hub to benefit from S2 features).
You asked, we listened. The new S2 Multisiren is mix of unique and advanced features that make for an optimized security device. Paired with a compatible Z-Wave hub, use this device for audio and visual alerts, whether you’re getting a notification on your smartphone or hearing the siren from upstairs.
Connect the Multisiren with other Z-Wave devices for next-level home security - program it to go off as soon as a door or window are opened unexpectedly, when your Z-Wave leak sensors detect water where it shouldn’t be, and even when the indoor temperature gets too low or high - the Multisiren’s built-in temperature and humidity sensors give you even more options for custom automation (if your Z-Wave hub supports the Multilevel Sensor command class). The device is also equipped with tamper protection, low-battery alerts, and the latest S2 security protocol for extra layers of protection.
As a bonus, this Multisiren features an audio speaker that is separate from the siren - this speaker allows you to upload custom audio files for the device to play, depending on the rules you set. This is a brand new feature that requires your hub to support the new Sound Switch command class. Many hubs will not support this command class at this time, except the ones marked accordingly in the Works With section below.
You can include the Multisiren to your Z-Wave system automatically or manually; include it right from its installation location to help the hub find the best route to the device.
For auto-inclusion, put your Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode (see your hub’s manual for specifics as each brand is different. And if your hub supports S2, it may ask you to enter the DSK key printed on the sticker on the back cover). Open the battery cover on the back of your device and gently open it. Pull the battery tab to power up the device. The LED indicator will start blinking and the new device should appear on your hub’s device list.
For manual inclusion, make sure the batteries are inserted correctly and put your Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode. Remove the battery cover to access the Z-Wave button. Press the Z-Wave button 3 times quickly. Once successfully included, the Multisiren will appear on your device list.
Once the unit is included to your Z-Wave system, it’s time to mount it in its final location. Choose a clean, dry, and flat surface about 6 feet from the ground to mount the Multisiren, making sure to mount it in a vertical position. Use the back cover to mark two holes on the flat surface. Drill holes into the marked points, and use the supplied anchors and screws to attach the cover to the surface. Slide the Multisiren down the back cover, pushing it in to secure it into place.
NOTE: If you don't see your Z-Wave controller on the list above, please contact us before you purchase this product.
