How It Works
The Schlage RP200 is a convenient lighting smart home solution. Add the module to your Z-Wave gateway and create custom scenes to save energy. The dimming function allows bulbs to last longer, as well as cut your electricity charges by using less power. Once the module is added to a Z-Wave network, it can be plugged in anywhere in the house and used with any lamp to recreate your favorite ambience instantly.
You may also control the unit manually. Press and release the button once to turn the lamp on or off. Press and hold the button to dim the light.
TIP: You don't use incandescent bulbs but simply can't pass up this great deal?
Use the Schlage module as a Z-Wave extender to boost signal in your garage and other parts of your home or office. Just plug it in and pair it with your controller. The module will start repeating signal instantly.
Plug the lamp module into an indoor, three-prong, 120 volt A/C grounding type power outlet. When adding the device to your Z-Wave network, it's best to choose a location close to your controller. Send a pairing command from you controller and press the action button once to activate the module. If you're having problems connecting the device with your Z-Wave hub, please read this post or contact us for assistance.
Use the Z-Wave marked outlet on the module to connect a lamp you would like to control. The device will work with incandescent bulbs only. The pass-through three-prong outlet is not controlled by the system and may be used with units of up to 1500 watts.
