HOW IT WORKS
The Qubino Flush 1D Relay is a dry contact switch that enables remote on/off control of lights and small appliances. With a voltage-free output contact, different power supply loads under 10A can be connected to the module.
When included with your Z-Wave gateway controller, you’ll be able to check the on/off status of connected devices, and remotely control them from the ease of your smart phone or computer. Create personalized lighting schedules — like turning off the lights in the baby’s room at the same time every evening — to save on utilities and enjoy a comfortable routine.
This 1D Relay may also be paired with other Z-Wave devices for advanced home automation scenarios: open the garage door as soon as you leave your house in the morning. This module also acts as a Z-Wave signal repeater to strengthen your network.
INSTALLATION
Note:
Follow the diagrams in your user manual exactly. If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring, please contact a qualified and licensed electrician to install your 1D relay.
Do not exceed the recommended loads — failure to do so may result in injury and equipment damage.
Before installation, make sure electrical power is completely disconnected and the main fuse disabled.
If including the module to your Z-Wave network automatically, then be sure to set your Z-Wave gateway controller into inclusion mode BEFORE you connect the device to a power supply. Auto-inclusion will occur within 5 seconds of connection to the power supply.
If you miss the auto-inclusion window, add the module to your Z-Wave network manually. First, connect the device to a power supply. Put your controller in inclusion mode, then toggle the switch connected to the I1 terminal 3 times within 3 seconds. Once successfully included into your Z-Wave network, the module will appear on your controller’s device list.
