HOW IT WORKS
Install the Micro Motor Controller behind your existing motor switch. You'll be able to control your motorized blinds or curtains manually or through a Z-Wave remote control once you include the unit to your network. For manual control, it’s best to use a decora style rocker switch. Pair the device with a Z-Wave gateway controller to open and close shades from your wireless device. Create scenes for the blinds to open or close at a scheduled time or when triggered by another Z-Wave unit.
NOTE: Please check your electrical installation for neutral wires prior to purchasing Z-Wave micro controllers. You will not be able to use this device without a neutral wire in the box.
Carefully follow the instruction manual to wire the micro motor controller. If you aren't sure how to properly install the unit, please consult a licensed electrician. Improper wiring may result in device damage.
It's best to include the controller to your Z-Wave network before closing the in-wall box. Make sure the device operates well through manual control prior to testing Z-Wave remote control. If the LED indicator is not flashing and the controller has not been properly included to your network, you might have to preform general exclusion before you attempt to pair it again.
