Add this unit to any GE/Jasco home automation switch and control lights or devices from multiple locations. Remember that this is NOT a Z-Wave stand-alone switch, you’ll need a master GE/Jasco/Enbrighten/Honeywell switch or dimmer to connect it with.

HOW IT WORKS

The Jasco ZW2002 add-on switch is designed for additional manual control of lights and devices in your smart home network. It will only work with GE / Honeywell / Enbrighten and Jasco switches as it uses an internal communication protocol. This is not a Z-Wave device.

An add-on switch is perfect for for hallways and stairs, giving you the flexibility to turn lights on and off or adjust brightness if you connect the unit to a GE/Jasco Z-Wave dimmer. You may also use the add-on switch to change the speed in your fan when paired with the GE smart fan control.

INSTALLATION

The Jasco add-on switch is connected to your existing wiring and saves space with its screw terminal and neutral jumper wire. It takes no more than 15 minutes to install if you carefully read the manual.

Here are some helpful installation tips:

  • The switch must be mounted indoors.
  • Make sure the electric wiring in your home includes the neutral wire (you will not be able to connect the smart switch properly without a neutral wire).
  • Unlike your regular electric switches in a 3-way configuration, the Jasco add-on switches cannot be connected to neither load nor line wires. Use only traveler, neutral, and ground when installing the switch.
