        It works

I was a vera plus user. Read a lot of bad reviews on ezlo. I do agree with some of their points. I need a hub that users can log into for a vrbo. Especially to use the go control garage door. This does work well for that. My main disappointment is you can not give the same guests permissions as with vera. In the past, vera would allow you to make a guest username and passwords. This was great because you could limit a guests authority to change setting or use certain devices. Ezlo this is not functional yet. This is really frustrating but it still does work well. I also have a home with vera edge. To my suprise the edge is quicker but really it's not the biggest concern of mine. Just want a stable system and this is. All my old devices worked including old zooz switches. I did buy a new 800 series zooz switch and it created havoc for the system so I removed it. But I see that might be more of zooz thing after reading problems with the 700 series too.

        It's Been A Long Road

I must admit, it has taken several updates for Ezlo to get where its at today. Easy, configurable, and mostly compatible for all. Its also at a cheaper price point then most other systems. Nonetheless I am happy!! 2024 may be Ezlo breakthrough year.

        Run Away

Ezlo purchased the formerly great Vera controllers and through their lack of support, destroyed Vera and moved forward with their new product, Ezlo. Ezlo advertised all the bells and whistles (700 series controller, not cloud dependent), but lacked basic functionality that Vera had, like geofencing and alarm system integration. After years on the market, they finally started adding these, but not after alienating the developers that had made Vera a robust platform I discovered Home Assistant and a Aeotec Z-wave stick, along with a raspberry pi, and my home automation has never been so stable or integrated.

        Not Ready for Prime Time

Ezlo Plus controller has many really nice features. Unfortunately, Ezlo tech support is not up to speed (emailled them many times, no response) and many of the z-way compatible 700 series devices (although advertised to work) do not.

Stay away from Ezlo at all costs

Ezlo has a basically good idea and offers phone tech support. Unfortunately, they aren't ready for market. After over 6 months and over 20 tech support calls (several lasting hours), I finally had to abandon the three Ezlo Plus controllers I invested in and replace with ST. Ezlo could not get their system to work and it fell offline after hours or minutes. I'm sure this had something to do with the gadgets being controlled, but all were supposedly verified as compatible by Ezlo. As soon as I switched to ST, our system has been extremely reliable and trouble free.
