HOW IT WORKS
The Aeotec Nano Dimmer is the one-size-fits-all of Z-Wave switches, boasting broad compatibility with various wiring setups, bulbs, load and switch types. Install it behind an existing wall switch to give your lights the convenience and power of Z-Wave. Integrate the Nano Dimmer with your gateway controller to enjoy remote dimming & on/off control from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Powered by Lighting Engine, this device is compatible with electrical systems with or without neutral wires. It supports leading and trailing edge dimming which means you don't have to worry about your LED bulb flickering. Nano Dimmer even works without a light switch so you can hide it completely.
If you Z-Wave controller supports power metering features, monitor the energy consumption of the connected bulb for more efficient smart home control. Connect the Dimmer with other Z-Wave devices for advanced automation scenarios: create a “movie night” scene in which your lights automatically dim to the perfect setting; schedule the lights to dim every afternoon when nap time for the little ones comes around.
The smallest of Aeotec's line of switches, Nano Dimmer is designed to fit in all gang boxes. A built-in surge protector keeps your lighting not only functional, but safe.
